Plants Unlimited on route 1 in Rockport is hosting two gardening seminars. These events are free and open to the public.

Putting your Perennial Garden to Bed

Saturday October 16th - 2:00 pm

Perennial consultant Susan Gossett will discuss which perennials should be cut back and those that should not. Susan will also talk about how to protect your perennials, when to uncover your perennials in spring and how to protect plants from rodents!

 

GARDENING for the BIRDS!

Saturday October 23rd - 2:00 pm

When we think of attracting birds to our garden, we usually think of planting shrubs and trees with berriesHowever, other shrubs can provide shelter, nesting spots, seeds or other attributes. Hammon Buck will show some of the best plants to attract and keep birds in your garden and at your feeders.

"Buck" as most of you know him, is a 1977 graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Landscape Architecture. He started Plants Unlimited in 1978 and is a frequent speaker on the garden club and group circuit.
