SOUTH THOMASTON. Saturday's "Pot Luck" and Annual Meeting had a smaller than average attendance, due to a light snowfall throughout the day. Fortunately, the food was plentiful and delicious, the business meeting was short and sweet, and the entertainment was wonderfully hilarious! 

Reports were read, plans for 2012 announced, officers re-elected, and all settled down for the highlight of the evening.

Charley Heino of Belgrade, Maine was the featured speaker. A retired school administrator, and a former legislator, and now widely famous as an author and public speaker...and a natural comedian!

The attached photo shows Charley, speaking and waving his arms, while Fred Webel and Jackie Harjula look on in fascination. Moments later, they were laughing hysterically, and I dropped my camera!

A good time was had by all!
