Stockton Springs — A Stockton Springs man was arrested on charges of domestic assault, domestic terrorizing, criminal threatening, reckless conduct and obstructing the report of a crime, for an incident that occurred the night of April 14.

Waldo County Sheriff's Office received a report April 15 about a domestic assault that occurred the night before. A woman alleged that her partner, Marshall Crockett, 22, assaulted her multiple times and threatened to kill her and her family if she tried to leave the residence. She also told deputies that Crockett took her phone to prevent her calling for help, and pointed a loaded firearm at her.

That afternoon, deputies searched the residence and found a firearm as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia, for which further charges are likely.

Crockett is being held without bail at Waldo County Correctional Center.
