2ND ANNUAL HIGH NOON COAST GUARD CHILI CHALLENGE

 PARTICIPANTS WILL BE COMPETING FOR THE BEST CHILI AT U.S. COAST GUARD BASE ROCKLAND

COMPETING WILL BE THE THUNDER BAY, THE ABBIE BURGESS, "2011 CHAMPS", THE TACKLE AND THE STATION,  "2011 "PEOPLE'S CHOICE" WINNER. 

CIVILIAN ENTRIES ARE ALSO WELCOME

Bring your entry for the 2012 Chili Challenge to the Maine Lighthouse Museum; tasting will begin at Noon. Entries can be dropped off starting at 10AM; we will have tables and power all set up

All personnel and their families are invited to participate and vote for their favorite chili.
Prizes will be awarded for best chili in the Coast Guard and Civilian categories. Plus there will be a vote for “Peoples Choice”.

The Coast Guard City Committee will provide: toppings, beverages and dessert

The event was originally scheduled for this Friday, November 9th but had to be rescheduled due to the CGC Abbie Burgess being sent to New York the end of this week.
