I am a Portland, Maine native with thirty years of full time residential and commercial real estate accomplishments. My waterfront living and sailing experiences afford me a working knowledge of residential waterfront and island properties. My education and football careers at Cheverus High School and the University of Notre Dame (where I played for Ara Parsegian) have contributed greatly to business activities and real estate accomplishments in the greater Portland area. I currently serve on the Portland Zoning Board of Appeals and I am the past President of the Downtown Portland Corporation that works in conjunction with the Department of Economic Development. The Thornton family has long standing ties to the community in Portland and on Long Island, Maine. As a real estate broker, in Maine and Florida, I have successfully negotiated over 1,000 transactions at all levels.
