Belfast — "Capturing a Moment in Time," an exhibit of scenic and nature photographs from around Maine by photographer Shelagh Delphyne, will be on display in the Belfast Co-op Café through the month of January.

Delphyne has been a keen photographer since her childhood in England. After living aboard boats for many years in the Caribbean, she came to Maine in 1989 and fell in love with its magnificent scenery. Maine has provided her with the inspiration to commit to photography full time. Recently, she snapped the photograph she has been hoping to capture for years: a Snowy Owl. For more information about her work, visit delphynephotography.com.

The community-owned Belfast Co-op, open 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, is located downtown at 123 High St. All are welcome. For additional information, call 338-2532 or visit belfast.coop.
