Brian Thomas, an owner of Maine Boating Adventures and two boats - M/V Rendezvous and Schooner Isaac H. Evans, has recently passed his test to become a licensed captain!

While originally from New York, as a child he spent part of each summer with his grandparents along Maine's coast. He has always been drawn to this beautiful corner of the country. When not staying busy with operating or maintaining Rendezvous, he enjoys spending time with his family; his wife Brenda and dog Izze. He enjoys down time with a book or a Red Sox game, as well as exploring, traveling, hiking, or playing sports.

Maine Boating Adventures offers 1.5-hour harbor tours and 3-hour lobster dinner cruises aboard Rendezvous and one-night or multi-night sailing adventures aboard the Schooner Isaac H. Evans. Both are historic wooden vessels and the Isaac H. Evans, named a National Historic Landmark, is celebrating 125 years this year.

Capt. Brian will be your host aboard Rendezvous. You'll hear his voice on the phone when you call to make your reservation, and you'll see him on board when you take your trip. You're as likely to see him steering the boat as serving up a glass of wine, cooking lobsters, sharing information about our area and the sights you'll see, or jumping to the dock at the end of the trip to make sure the lines are secure. He's an all-around host and will do everything he can to make sure your trip aboard Rendezvous is comfortable and fun.

Congratulations, Brian!
