Brooks — Marsh River Theater will present "A Night of Glee" for two weekends; performances will be Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 14, 15, 21 and 22 at the venerable venue, 24 Monroe Highway/Route 139.

The all-singing production is inspired by the love so many people have for the Fox television show "Glee," about a high school show choir. The Marsh River production will be performed by 10 singers and three musicians and will include songs from the popular TV show. The 21 songs include "Don't Stop Believing," "Teenage Dream," "Forget You," "Somebody to Love," "Firework," "Misery" and "Hey Soul Sister."

The singers are from all over the surrounding area; Rachel Douglas comes from Bangor, Svea-Linnea Ashe lives in Newport and two of the singers, Izzy Labbe and Diana Cameron McQueen, come from Waterville. The remaining singers are locals Frank Champa, Alyssa Shiessl, Kate Hall, Mert Danna, Kasey Roberts and Jennifer Turnbull. The band is headed by Cliff Young on the piano with Mert Danna on drums and Bartley Hinson on bass.

Tickets are general admission and cost $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and children. To set aside ticket, call the box office at 722-4110.
