Anthroposophic exploration of color
Rockport — Studies in Anthroposophy will offer an adult course in color exploration and watercolor painting beginning Sunday, Feb. 24 at the Ashwood Waldorf School, 180 Park St. The class will meet for 12 weeks.
Registration is now open for the course with Seth Lester, who teaches art at University College at Rockland (URock). The course will present a journey of discovery and personal development through the nature of color as presented by Johann von Goethe, Rudolf Steiner and Liane Collot D’Herbois. Participants will also be led in color exercises based upon D’Herbois’ research into color and the evolution of human consciousness.
No previous study or experience necessary. The cost for the course is $225, and a certificate of completion will be offered to those working towards a Foundation Studies Credential for entry into Waldorf Teacher training or other trainings based in Steiner’s work.
