Arborea’s Curran solos in Unity
Unity — Buck Curran of the art-folk duo Arborea will perform an intimate evening of original psychedelic folk Saturday, April 29, at 7 p.m. at the Unity College Center for Performing Arts, 42 Depot St.
Curran's music has developed through a decade of playing with Arborea, preceded by playing blues and folk throughout the 1990s. He also draws inspiration from the deep well of American and British folk; and folk rock of the 1960s and early ‘70s.
To date, Arborea has released five albums and produced two various-artist compilations. Curran also produced a second tribute to Robbie Basho, “Basket Full of Dragons.” “Immortal Light,” Curran’s first album under his own name, came out last year.
Tickets are $12; for advance tickets, visit uccpa.unity.edu. Up next at the UCCPA will be Sara and Kenny Friday, May 12, at 7 p.m. ($15).
