Art Show Awards and Pop-Up Gallery in Belfast
The public is invited to a juried art show reception plus an Invitational Pop-Up Gallery on August 16, 6:30PM at the Belfast Free Library to benefit Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County.
The jurors are artist David Estey, sculptor Kimberly Callas and photographer Kevin Johnson . They selected work from eighty pieces of art work submitted last month.

The exhibit is currently hanging in the Barbara Kramer Gallery in the lobby of Belfast Free Library. The public is invited to vote on the best in show.
The Invitational Pop-Up Gallery in the Abbott Room during the reception will feature many award-winning artists from the Waldo County area. Artists include Daniel Anselmi, Kenny Cole, Kerstin Engman, Lynn Karlin, Richard Mann, Abbie Read, Alison Rector, Willy Reddick, Lynn Karlin and more.
Internationally-renowned artist Harold Garde will be an honored guest. The Barbara Kramer Gallery was named for his late wife, who received hospice care. Kristen Burkholder will be the MC and musician Clayton Clemetson will perform his original compositions.
The artist reception and award ceremony is free and open to the public. Delicious light refreshments will be generously provided by La Vida, The Front Street Pub, and Delvinos. All the artwork will be for sale, with fifty percent of the proceeds going to benefit Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County.

Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County provides non-medical support to patients and families facing a terminal illness and bereavement support to anyone in the community who has suffered the loss of a loved one. All services are always free.
