Belfast — Maine Farmland Trust Gallery’s “Inside View” of barns and farmhouses runs through June 23. There will be artist talks 5 p.m. Friday, May 26, followed by reception to 8 p.m. as part of the Belfast Fourth Friday Art Walk.

With “The Inside View,” Maine Farmland Trust Gallery aims to show a variety of interior views of farms: old and new; still used for farming or transformed into an artist’s space; and the family’s kitchen table versus the cow’s barn. The group show includes oil paintings, acrylics, mixed media, drawings and photography by artists Julie Cyr, Kerstin Engman, Leslie Harris, Margaret LaFarge, Tessa O’Brien, DiTa Ondek, Susan Smith, Sarah Szwajkos, and aforementioned LaFarge and O’Brien.

MFT Gallery, located at 97 Main St., is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. During Fourth Friday Art Walks, the gallery is open until 8 p.m. For more information, visit mainefarmlandtrust.org. Maine Farmland Trust is a statewide, member-powered nonprofit working to protect farmland, support farmers, and advance farming.
