‘Artists Choice,’ Midcoast work
Damariscotta — River Arts on Route 1 invites the public to the opening reception of its newest exhibition, “Artists’ Choice,” Friday, Oct. 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. More than 100 Maine artists submitted work for jurying including sculpture, photography, collage, painting, ceramics, fine craft and fiber arts — both representational and abstract.
A number of Midcoast artists have work in the show, which was juried by artist Bruce Busko, owner of Rockland’s Landing Gallery. Also opening Friday in River Arts’ West Gallery is a solo show of watercolors by Anne Cronin of Belfast (see story linked below).
