Arts Commission seeks survey-takers

Jul 15, 2014

Augusta — The Maine Arts Commission is considering future services, funding and other ways to assist artists of all disciplines, as well as art, cultural and nonprofit organizations for whom arts and creative offerings are vital. MAC has posted a survey for artists and nonprofits and requests any interested to fill it out.

The survey asks for information about participants, their work, organizations and needs. MAC also wants opinions about Maine's arts and cultural priorities. Participation is very important to the success of this effort and will only take about 20 minutes.

Individual artists may complete the online survey by visiting research.net/s/MaineArtists. Art/cultural organizations or nonprofits should complete the online survey at research.net/s/MaineArts.

Participants are asked to complete the survey as best they can. If there are questions they cannot answer, just check N/A and go on to the next one. One also may contact the Maine Arts Commission at 287-2724 or MaineArts.info@maine.gov.

The survey will close Sept. 1. Those who respond before this time will be included in a drawing to receive a gift card valued up to $50. Information will be kept strictly confidential.
