Baby Fair needs sellers
Belfast — Due to the popularity of the spring Baby Fair, a second fair will be held Saturday, Sept. 25, 8:30 -11 a.m. at Troy Howard Middle School, Lincolnville Avenue (Route 52).
The Baby Fair is planning on a wide selection of booths selling new and used items for infants and children up to age 10. This is a great opportunity to clean out your closets and sell baby and children's items no longer needed in your home such as clothes, toys, books and furniture. Winter things would be especially appropriate. So, round up your children's used skates, sleds and snow suits to sell. Craftspeople who make baby items may also want to join the fair.
Tables for exhibitors are available to rent at $25 each. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid prior to the fair to guarantee a spot. Proceeds from table rental fees and admission benefit the Belfast Public Health Nursing Association, but all other profit is yours to keep. Set up will be 7-8:30 a.m. before the fair starts, and clean up will be immediately following the event. Last spring about 250 people attended the fair. There is an admission fee of $1 for adults.
To book a table, or for more information, call Lois Dutch of Waldo County General Hospital's Education Department at 338-2500, ext. 4154.
