Belfast Bay Music Fest rocks for Habitat
Belfast — The inaugural Belfast Bay Music Festival, hosted by local rock band Adonis Rising Front Street Pub and Jo-Jo’s Corn, will take place Friday, Aug. 22, starting 2 p.m. at Steamboat Landing, next to the Belfast Boathouse.
The fest will present several local Maine bands bringing various music genres to the waterfront, along with multiple food vendors and artisans from Maine, all working in collaboration to support a worthy cause: raising funds for Habitat for Humanity.
The lineup includes Adonis Rising, Riff Johnson, Meghan Clark, Trisha Mason Band, Jim Dandy, The Resistance, Fools Rule, DJ Maine Event, Juke Rockets, Bizzy Gruntry, Ock Cousteau and more.
Tickets are $20, free for children younger than age 11, and can be purchased at Bull Moose Music, brownpaperticket.com, Belfast Chamber of Commerce, directly from the artists, Glow Salon and at the gate.
