Belfast grad takes Air Force post at Pentagon
Washington, D.C. — Lt. Col. Brent Hatch, a native of Morrill who graduated from Belfast Area High School in 1983, was recently reassigned to the Air Force Financial Operations Office at the Pentagon. His primary responsibility will be to ensure that Headquarters Air Force can achieve a clear audit of all financial management records, as mandated by Congress.
Hatch is relocating following a two-year assignment as comptroller of the Nellis Creech Nevada Test and Training Range, where he managed budgetary and financial resources totaling $5.2 billion in annual impact to the Las Vegas valley. His wife, Deborah Hatch, founder and CEO of Pinnacle Personnel Services, an international human resources training and consulting business, will join Hatch in Washington.
Hatch received his bachelor's degree from the University of Maine Augusta. The son of Christine Hatch and the late Roy Hatch, he attained the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts.
