Belfast hosts Veteran's Day parade

Belfast — Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3108, the American Legion Post 43, AMVETS, Belfast police and fire, local boy scouts and the Improved Order of Redmen of Maine Degree of Pocahontas filled the streets of the city Sunday, Nov. 11, to recognize the soldiers of past and present wars. The Veteran’s Day parade began at 11 a.m. as participants made their way along Waldo Avenue before making their way down Main Street to the waterfront where a brief ceremony concluded the event.
