In Love With Belfast
"Dr. J. A. Merrill, of Newburyport, who is stopping at the house of Mr. G. W. Cottrell, is in love with Belfast. He says he has been at every summer resort from Eastport to New Orleans, and that in his opinion Belfast beats them all. We have less fog, while for picturesque drives and beautiful sailing Belfast is unsurpassed. Dr. Merrill predicts that when our city becomes better known to summer visitors it will be more frequented. The doctor is about right."
