Belfast police blotter
Belfast — Law enforcement officials with the Belfast Police Department reported the following recent activity:
Toni Joy, 25, of Searsmont, domestic violence assault.
Rebecca Rogers, 23, of Appleton, criminal threatening.
Carol A. Underhill, 58, of Lincolnville was stopped on Franklin Street in her 2008 Toyota SUV. Meanwhile, Sara S. Melanson, 34, of Liberty, stopped behind Underhill in a 2000 Saab. Underhill reportedly backed into Melanson, but neither of the drivers was injured.
Jean Richards, 84, of Jackson was backing from a space at the Hannaford Parking lot in her 2003 Dodge. Richards reportedly backed into the front fender and door of a 200 Buick that was being operated by Harriet Curtis, 72, of Belfast. The impact occurred as Curtis was entering the parking lot. No one was hurt.
Richard L. Pomelow, 40, of Waterville, imprudent speed, improper passing.
Matthew M. Allen, 32, of Liberty, was summoned for speeding for driving 66 mph in a 45 mph zone and was also charged with operating under the influence.
Elvis Robbins, 57, of Belfast, violating conditions of release.
Pro Me Thius, 50, of North Hollywood, Calif., fugitive from justice.
Nicholas A. Jacobs, 25, of Troy was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines.
