Belfast — Law enforcement officials with the Belfast Police Department reported the following recent activity:

Aug. 27

Pamela S. Goguen, 57, of Lewis, Colo., was driving down the on ramp to Route 1 from High Street in a 2004 BMW. Meanwhile George L. Hughes, 80, of Somerville was driving north on Route 1 at this location. Goguen reportedly pulled onto Route 1 and hit the trailer that Hughes was pulling behind his 2004 Ford van. Hughes stated he saw Goguen coming and tried to turn to the left but was unable to avoid the collision. Goguen told police Hughes "did not stop at the stop sign and she was going to hit him." Goguen later stated she did stop but thought in retrospect she should have waited a little longer before pulling into traffic. No one was hurt.

Aug. 28

Jennifer G. Wright, 32, of Bangor, texting while operating a motor vehicle.

Aug. 30

Hector Bohan, 22, of Swanville, unauthorized use of property, possession of schedule W drugs, three counts of possession of schedule Z drugs, operating under the influence (with one prior conviction), operating after suspension, criminal mischief.

Gari P. Oxton, 78, of Belfast, failure to provide proof of insurance.

Aug. 31

Andrew B. Herrick Sr., 48, of Belfast, burglary, terrorizing, carrying a concealed weapon (knife).

Sept. 2

Patricia A. Kaviani, 47, of Tacoma, Wash., was summoned for speeding for driving 49 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Joshua N. Fuller, 22, of Liberty, was summoned for speeding for driving 50 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Joshua A. Colby, 26, of Waterville, operating under the influence, driving to endanger with personal injury, failure to stop at a stop sign.

Ty W. Bowden, 26, of Waldo, seat belt violation.

Andrew Clark, 24, of Morrill, operating after suspension.

Sept. 3

Shawn N. Perito, 19, of Belfast, violating conditions of release.

Ralph Richardson, 62, of Belfast, failure to stop at a stop sign.
