Belfast's 'Happy' video production underway

May 06, 2014

Belfast’s “Happy” video has now filmed at more than 25 locations around the city.

Filming began April 5 during Project Cinderella in the Renys Plaza as girls lined up for prom dresses and dance to Pharrell Williams' song “Happy.”

The video will consist of more than 70 scenes filmed around the city, from the harbor to the schools, farms, stores and City Hall, featuring Belfast dancers. The goal is to host the video on YouTube to show off all facets of Belfast as a fun and happy place.

Filming is scheduled to take place at Good N You food truck, Belfast Framers, athenahealth, Belfast Cooperative, Dockside Family Restaurant, Waldo County YMCA, City Landing, Daily Soup, Belfast Baothouse, the Opera House and the American Legion Hall.
