More than 1,000 people visited the Hutchinson Center in Belfast Aug. 18 for the annual Best of the Best Business Showcase and Silent Auction.

The auction raises money for a scholarship to the Hutchinson Center. It brought in more than $7,000 this year. Attendees perused the halls of the center, stopping at booths for a variety of Waldo County Businesses, from chiropractors to local banks. There was also free food from many local restaurants.
