Don't miss the last show of the season at the Marsh River Theater "It's a Wonderful Life, a 1940's Radio Show." The show will play two weekends this year, Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m. The show is like being in the studio audience of a 1940s radio broadcast, complete with commercials. "It's a Wonderful Life" stars Matt Littlefield, Amanda Stover, Jen Albee, Sue Hall and Frank Champa, doing all the voices from the movie. The show also features two Foley artists, Donna Herkel and Susan Champa. Come on down and join in the fun! Call the box office for tickets at 722-4110.

Santa in Brooks
The Brooks Holiday Celebration will be Sunday, Dec. 2, this year. The parade will start at 5 p.m. at Morse Memorial and work its way down Jewel Street, then down Route 7 and to the Town Office. Carols will be sung on the porch, and the annual reading of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" will take place. Anyone who would like to decorate their car or truck with stuff and lights for the parade can do so. Have your vehicle at Morse Memorial at 4:30 to join in the parade. Santa will arrive at town hall at approximately 5:30-6 p.m.
Pot Luck Suppah
There will be a community potluck on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m. in the Varney Building. Bring a dish to share with the group. This is, as always, a free event. The December Potluck will be on the 16th at 6 p.m.
The Brooks Park Boosters Winter Farmers Market will be held at the Varney Building on Saturdays, Dec. 8 and 22. The market features local meat, baked goods, herbs, jams, teas as well as many other items. The market opens at 9 a.m. and stays open until 1 p.m. This is your chance to stock up on local goods for the winter.
The Harvest Home Grange will be putting together care packages and cards for soldiers overseas, if you believe in this cause and would like to help, they will be putting everything together on Dec 2 at the Grange and mailing it out on Dec. 3. They will be gathering fudge, cookies, and brownies, cards, stationery envelopes, stamps, socks. If you would like to contribute, the grange certainly will welcome it. Please, nothing with nuts, as some may be allergic. Contact Paul Corbin if you can and want to help.
The annual country Christmas concert will be held at the Brooks Congregational Church on Sunday, Dec. 16. Come listen to Christmas carols sung by your neighbors. You don't want to miss this Brooks tradition.
The Brooks Congregational Church Food Pantry is having a food drive. Bring any canned or dry food to Ralph's Cafe during the months of November and December to support local families in need. Food items may also be brought to any of the community potlucks.
