The following information was provided by Brooks Town Clerk Jane McLaughlin.

The selectmen of Brooks will hold an information meeting about the proposed Salt/Sand Shed being built near the Transfer Station on Tuesday, Mar. 5, at 6:30 p.m. at the Varney Building. An article requesting funding approval will be on the annual town meeting warrant for the town meeting on Mar. 16.

Everyone is encouraged to attend with their questions.

The upstairs of the Town Office is being used as a lending library. There is a great assortment of books to borrow and return at your convenience. It is a work in progress, so it’s not finished yet. Ideas to improve it and make it more useful to everyone are welcomed.
