Candidates vie for council, school board, assessor seats

Winterport — Residents will cast their ballots in June for Winterport Town Council, School Board and an assessor.

Running for Town Council are Kimberly Clark, Shawn Crossman, Philip Foley, Peter Rioux and Ann Ronco. Foley and Ronco are seeking re-election to the council. The five candidates are competing for two three-year seats on the council.

For School Board, voters will choose between Jessica King and Philip Tate for a three-year term.

Voters will also elect an assessor for a three-year term. Joseph Tyler and Thomas Skratt are running for the position.

Elections are scheduled for Tuesday, June 13, at Wagner Middle School. Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The annual town meeting will be held Thursday, June 15.
