Carols in the Round, all around
Lincolnville — NOTE: CONCERTS OF DEC. 21 and 22 CANCELED DUE TO ICE STORM
The United Christian Church will cap its Music and Reflection for the Season of Advent series with the touring Carols in the Round concert by the Mount View High School Chamber Singers Sunday, Dec. 22, at 4 p.m. The church is located at 18 Searsmont Road/Route 173 in Lincolnville Center. THIS CONCERT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR JAN. 12.
The Chamber Singers surround the audience, singing in candlelight and progressing a place after each song to add a special dimension to the listening experience. Following the program, a reception will be held in the recently renovated Community Building.
All are welcome to the concert and the reception. Doors will open around 3:30 p.m. The audience is asked to be seated by 3:55 p.m.; late arrivals will need to sit in the balcony. The church, with the exception of the balcony, is handicapped accessible. There is no admission fee, but free-will donations will benefit the Mount View Chamber Singers, who also will have their CDs available for purchase. For more information, call 763-4526.
