CASS wigwam taking shape
Belfast — The wigwam in the courtyard at the Captain Albert Stevens School in Belfast is growing, thanks to a collection of morning glories and sunflowers that are a new addition to the student-built structure.
CASS students constructed the wigwam last year under the guidance of Educational Technician David Hurley, who helped the youths learn skills such as tying secure knots and working as a team.
Friday morning, Sept. 20, CASS students gathered around the wigwam for a group photograph and to showcase the progress of new plantings.
