Children's House to offer elementary information session Wednesday

By Children's House Montessori School | Mar 24, 2014

The Children’s House Montessori School will be offering a special lunchtime presentation for parents who are interested in learning about the Montessori elementary program at Children’s House this Wednesday, March 26 at 12:30 p.m. Bring your lunch for an information session designed to answer questions about the opportunities and developmental progress elementary students experience in a Montessori program.

The presentation is primarily aimed at parents of kindergarten-aged students but is open to anyone who would like to learn more about the elementary program. Teachers will present an overview of the Montessori elementary curriculum and include time for questions and answers. Come learn more about our dynamic and child-friendly hands-on approach to learning that helps children grasp advanced mathematical and language concepts and hear about our project based curriculum for botany, zoology, astronomy and earth science. Find out, too about the benefits to your child’s social development and confidence that come from being in a classroom that emphasizes community building and the practice of peaceful living. Don’t be surprised if you leave wishing you could be a Montessori student too!

Located at 58 Elm Street in Camden, the Children’s House Montessori School serves children ages 18 months to 10 years and provides an educational culture that respects the child’s innate desire to learn and fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking while preparing every child to become a thoughtful, independent, and compassionate global citizen.

If you would like to attend the elementary information presentation or would like more information about the Children’s House Montessori School, please call 236-2911 or visit www.camdenmontessori.org.
