Choose your own Christmas-tree with the help of goats at 3 Streams Farm

Dec 10, 2013

3 Streams Farm is clearing firs around special fodder trees that will be pollarded or thinned to feed their dairy goat herd. By appointment, customers are invited to hike the woods accompanied by the friendly white, fluffy goats and one little black Guinea hog to choose a tall fir from which to cut the top. The $30 fee will go toward 3 Streams Farm's land tax. The goats will carry hot ginger cider for us and we will pocket apples for them. They will also help haul out trees. Such fresh cut trees will keep their needles longer than a commercially cut tree, and these woods trees can be custom cut to any height. Merry Christmas from 3 Streams Farm. Call 338-8980 to set a date to get your tree.
