Cinderella Project to give away prom dresses April 22
Belfast — The Cinderella Project of Maine again will provide prom dresses to local teens this year. The Belfast giveaway is Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Renys Plaza.
Gowns are free to all Maine high school students in need of a prom dress, with one stipulation — that they promise to pay the favor forward in some way by doing something nice for someone else in their community.
It's not too late to donate a dress. Dresses are accepted locally until April 22. For additional dress drop-off locations, visit cinderellaprojectofmaine.org/donations.
For more information, contact Tabitha Lowe at 338-6809 or visit cinderellaprojectofmaine.org or find it on Facebook. The Cinderella Project of Maine is a project of Waldo Community Actions Partners, a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Belfast. Donations are tax-deductible.
