Colbert, more in ‘Company’
Belfast — Colonial Theatre's More Than Movies series continues with Stephen Sondheim’s “Company.” It runs about two and three-quarters of an hour and will be screened Sundays, March 9 and 16, at 1:30 p.m.; and Friday, March 14, at 7 p.m.
This medley of musical vignettes on the true meaning of a steady romantic relationship features the character Bobby, played by Neal Patrick Harris, and his three current girlfriends. On the occasion of Bobby's 35 birthday, five married couples who are friends of his give their views via song and dance. The New York City Philharmonic production also stars Stephen Colbert, Patti Lupone, Jon Cryer, Martha Plimpton and others.
Admission is $10.25, $8.25 for teens and $5.25 for children. The Colonial Theatre is located at 163 High St. Wine and beer are served, along with an expanded concession menu. For more information, call 338-5087.
