Craignair Inn's Fundraising Plans

By Craignair Inn & Restaurant | Dec 20, 2010

New Craignair Innkeepers Joanne and Michael O'Shea are committed to supporting local causes and creating opportunities for the community to come together.

The couple, who purchased the Inn in May 2010 have plans through April to promote several local groups.  On 12/11/10 a benefit dinner for the Salvation Army raised nearly $600.  Starting in January, the Craignair will be partnering with the Montpelier-the General Henry Knox Museum in Thomaston, and St. George School in Tenants Harbor.  A brunch and presentation is set for January 16th to benefit the museum and talks with St. George School have begun in order to raise funds towards the school's efforts in composting food waste.

The innkeepers invite the community to be in touch via facebook or craignair.com to become involved with their efforts.
