Creative Coalition gets grant
Belfast — The Belfast Creative Coalition has received a $2,100 grant from the Emily and William Muir Community Fund of the Maine Community Foundation. This grant will go towards the membership and outreach coordinator to implement and grow the Belfast Creative Coalition's new membership program.
“This grant comes at a critical time,” said Kimberly Callas, Belfast Creative Coalition’s executive director. “BCC has made it through its start up phase and is now working to diversify funding sources. The membership program is a significant step towards BCC’s long-term sustainability.”
The Belfast Creative Coalition was founded in 2012 with the mission to coordinate and promote arts and culture, attracting people and businesses to the Belfast area. Members have the opportunity to be part of the coalition, joining one another in a common brand that creates visibility for all creative individuals and organizations in Waldo County.
