Deep Exploration of the Shoulder Arm and Hand at the Belfast Yoga Studio

Next Sunday afternoon,  June 22  from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, the Belfast Yoga Studio will present a Yamuna® Body Rolling class that will focus on detailed work that will deeply explore and free your shoulders, arms and hands. 

Are your shoulders , arms and hands up to gardening, kayaking and other summer activities? You will be amazed the difference this upcoming class makes in your upper body. You will learn to explore ways of releasing and strengthening your shoulders, arms and hands with Yamuna® Body Rolling. This three-hour workshop will also teach you sequences that help you stay pain-free. 

Your shoulder joint connects your hands and arms to your head, neck and torso. It is one of the most overused parts of the body. This means it is important to keep the shoulders aligned, tension-free, and with full range of motion. Learning how to care for your shoulders will prevent movement limitation, round shoulders, frozen shoulders and other common shoulder injuries. The repetitive use of hands and wrists slowly begin to contract all the muscles from the hands up through the arms into the shoulders, neck, and head.

This class is important for all to do and keep doing throughout our lives to keep our upper bodies and hands from the natural aging process.
