‘Dot’ Day Sept. 15 in Liberty
Liberty — Sunday, Sept. 15, marks the anniversary of the publication of best-selling author/illustrator Peter H. Reynolds’ “The Dot,” the story of a caring teacher who reaches a reluctant student in a remarkably creative way. Everyone is invited to an International Dot Day Celebration from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Liberty Library, 59 Main St.
The fun-for-all-ages afternoon to celebrate teachers and creativity will begin with a short reading of the book, followed by several stations where participants can create their own art.
