"The Proposed East-West Highway: Boon or Boondoggle? and What It Means for Midcoast Maine" will be presented at Belfast Free Library. Chris Buchanan, Hillary Lister, and Read and Heidi Brugger, opponents of the project, will provide background on the East-West Corridor project, share updates from various opposition groups, and discuss how to involve citizens of the Midcoast. The event is sponsored by the Peace & Justice Group of Waldo County. The program is free, with donations welcome.
