Easter Morning Service at the First Congregational Church, UCC

Easter morning will be celebrated at the First Congregational Church of Camden, UCC at its 9:30 a.m. service. The Rev. Kevin Pleas will officiate and Pamela Pleas will service as liturgist.

The University of Maine Trombone Trio will play selections during the service’s prelude and the Choral Bells will ring the Processional on Hallelujah by Michael Keller  as the Sanctuary Choir processes.

The congregation will also commission the youth group’s Appalachia Mission Team that is about to leave for a week of work in West Virginia.

Immediately following the service there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for young children.

The church, located at 55 Elm Street, has ample parking and is handicapped accessible. Hearing assistance devices are available as well.

There will also be an Easter Sunrise Service atop Ragged Mountain at 6 a.m. Participants are advised to be at the Snow Bowl by 5:15 a.m. in order to ride the chair lift to the top of the mountain. Dress appropriately for the weather.

The congregation welcomes everyone who would like to share worship on Easter morning.
