Trium will travel from Boston to Belfast to perform in the library's anniversary series.

Belfast — In celebration of the Belfast Free Library’s 125th anniversary, the series of special events sponsored by the library’s Trustees, Friends of the Library and staff, and with major support from the Camden National Bank, continues Sunday, July 15 at 7 p.m. with a concert by Trium. This program is free and open to all.

Trium, literally "of three," is a trio of sopranos who have dedicated themselves to the exploration and performance of music of three equal voices. Their repertoire encompasses many periods and styles and includes works of Dunstable, Dufay, Rossi, Luzzaschi, Mendelssohn, Holst and Bernstein. Trium was founded in 1997 to perform a benefit concert at Emmanuel Church in Boston, but members Shannon Larkin, Margaret Johnson and Gail Abbey also are well known individually for their work with Handel & Haydn Society, Boston Baroque and Emmanuel Music.
