Family Fun Aboard the Train

The Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad offers weekend and holiday round trip excursions from Belfast, Maine. Our season runs from Memorial Day weekend through through late October. Trains depart (round trip) from City Point Station in Belfast, Maine. Trains depart at 11 am and 2 pm on trips lasting about 1 hour.

Please see our events listing or view our calendar to see our events, fares, and schedules. Most of our trains will depart from City Point Station in Belfast, Maine. Our regular ride is west towards Waldo Station with the return trip to Belfast.

The Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad is a division of the Brooks Preservation Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit all volunteer organization. Excursions help to sustain the railroad and fund our many preservation and restoration projects. If you're unable to ride with us, then consider a membership or small donation instead.

BPS membership benefits include free passage on our B&ML Train Ride, discounts on several theme trains, and discounts for items in our gift shop.
