Final weeks for BAM
Belfast — Belfast Art Market is winding down its season, with only three markets left for the year so now is the time to check it out Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. BAM shares the grounds at Waterfall Arts, 256 High St., with the Belfast Farmers Market, so visitors are sure to find something to feed both body and soul.
In market this month is artist Carol Kutz, who spent years creating drawings for Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, as well as teaching art classes.
“I draw my inspiration from the great state of Maine and endeavor to depict the beauty of Maine's scenery and nature in pen and inks, colored pencil and mixed media," she said.
BAM offers a wide assortment of Maine-made, handcrafted art wares including pottery, photography, jewelry, paintings and fiber arts. For more information, visit belfastartmarket.weebly.com.
