Waldo County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Searsport man on numerous charges after he allegedly assaulted a woman and another man.

Police charged Christopher Micheal King, 26, of Searsport, with terrorizing, domestic violence terrorizing, assault, domestic violence assault and aggravated criminal trespass in connection with an incident that occurred July 20.

Lt. Jason Trundy of the Waldo County Sheriff's Office said King allegedly went to the home of the female victim, who had a relationship with King although it was unclear what the status of that relationship was at the time of his arrest, where he then forced his way into the residence.

The female victim had other people at her home when King forced his way inside, Trundy said. At that point, King allegedly assaulted a man who was at the home and when the female victim attempted to intervene, King also assaulted her before making threats against both victims.

Deputies arrested King who is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 16.
