Miss Millie's Cupboard news
Reba Stewart writes that Miss Millie's Cupboard, a pet food pantry located in Frankfort, will not be reopening. All remaining food will be donated to other nonprofit pet food pantries. Thank you to everyone who helped support the cupboard.
Children's story time
The Waldo Peirce Reading Room holds a story time for children Saturdays at 10 a.m. Reading will be done in the parlor. Pre-registration requested. Call the library at 223-4334 or e-mail wprr@msln.net. Or stop by the Library to sign up.
Pilgrim's Home Cemetery
Do you have family or ancestors buried at Pilgrim's Home Cemetery in Monroe? The new officers of the association need your help. They are working to update the records of who is buried in family lots, where they are buried, and who the contact person is. If you have any info, call Paul Weaver (525-7718) or Lawrence Brassbridge (223-4600). If your lot is not under perpetual care, a special is being offered for a limited time.
Frankfort Girl Scouts
The Frankfort Girl Scouts are participating in the Girl Scouts of Maine Fall Product Sale. They are selling nuts, candy and magazines at this time. If you would like to be contacted by a Girl Scout, call Alice at 223-5723 and leave a message. They are taking orders until Oct. 17.
