Voice of Freedom:

Well my dear readers, this is the beginning of a new year and it sure started off very cold and icy!

I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Year’s Eve.  For those of you who had to have a black Christmas, I hope all your power has been restored and things in your home are back to normal.  Just think, many years ago, this was the way our ancestors lived from day to day and year to year.  They survived and each time we go through something like this we come out stronger!  May we never have another blackout like this again.  We can only hope!

Next week the college students will be returning to school and I don’t think we will have much of a mud season due to the frozen and snow covered ground.   Then Spring will arrive. Then black fly season, then summer and fall and winter all over again.  I love living in a state that has 6 seasons.

Everyone have a great week, and let me know how your holidays were.  As usual we had our annual New Year’s Eve celebration at my home, had a great time and everyone arrived home safely.  We had a night filled with fun and games.
