Front Street Shipyard attempts to haul 117-foot yacht
Belfast — Front Street Shipyard attracted a crowd as workers attempted to haul a 117-foot, 170-ton Delta yacht.
J.B. Turner, president of Front Street Shipyard, said the haul was unsuccessful, as the equipment used to lift the yachts has a maximum capacity of 165 tons. However, he said Front Street Shipyard will still do some painting and work on the air conditioning system.
The yacht, "Grumpy," is a new boat to Front Street Shipyard and came from Florida, he said. Turner noted the all-fiberglass vessel was manufactured on the West Coast
