Fundraiser Thank You Letter from Trackside
On Monday, July 9, hundreds came together and demonstrated the power of community spirit and just how much a community can do. We want to thank everyone who came to the Get Well Noah Rally & Fundraiser at Trackside Station and bid on auction items, bought raffle tickets and raised more than $25,000 in just a few hours to help Noah Keene and his family.
From the outset of organizing the event, we were amazed at the donations that poured in – more than 200 items were donated – from individuals who wanted to have a way to help, to fellow businesses who saw the good in the event. Each donation was appreciated and without them the event would not have been nearly as successful.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the core group that worked on this event – from picking up donated tables, to making sure we had enough raffle tickets, to organizing all the prizes & auction items – and so much more. Tiffany Monroe, Sarah McLean, Stephanie Williams, Fletcher Smith, Laurie Dow Smith and Jessica Whitamore – you are a dream team to work with and there is no way we could have come close to having such an amazing event without each of you.
A huge thank you to Bruce & Becky Gamage and their team for coordinating and running the auction portion of the event.
Thank you Stefan Low for donating your time and providing wonderful music.
Thank you to the Maine Lobster Festival for donating the barricades which were used for an outdoor area, as well as festival bracelets. Thank you to O’Hara Corp. for donating ice, Jimmy Kalloch of J.K. Kalloch for use of his flatbed trailer for our “stage” and thank you Handy Portable Toilets. Thank you Federal Distributors and Peter Gray for the signs, outdoor beer stations and tents and Party Fundamentals for donating tables and linens and Pinnacle Graphics for the event banner.
We would not have been able to do this without our core staff at Trackside – you are such a great team – and a big thank you to our volunteer crew – Jennifer Blanchette, Kelly Hall, Kristin Falla, Jen Chapman, Dan Falla, Adrian Whitamore, Peter Smith and Tom Monroe. Your help was so appreciated.
It truly is amazing what this community has been able to do – and still continues to do for the Keene family. The Noah Keene Support Fund at TD Bank continues to grow. We’re proud to be a part of this community and thank all of you for helping such a deserving family.
