Gee’s Bend Quilters Dinner/Forum

First Congregational Church, 8 Church St. on Penobscot Marine Museum campus, downtown Searsport, hosts New England boiled dinner followed by discussion forum moderated by Maine Center for Contemporary Art Director Suzette McAvoy and gospel singing with the visiting quilters from Alabama ladies. Cost: $30; $15 for just the forum (7 p.m.). Proceeds benefit Interfaith Fuel Fund and the Searsport Congregational/ Methodist Food Cupboard.
