Group Home Foundation, Inc. names new Executive Director
Group Home Foundation, Inc., of Belfast, has named Salvatore Garozzo to be Executive Director effective Oct. 21.
Garozzo succeeds Harold Siefken, who is retiring after 35 years as Executive Director at Group Home Foundation, Inc.
Garozzo has been employed by Ulster-Greene ARC for the past 15 years. His most recent position at Ulster-Greene ARC was Business Development Officer/Associate Executive Director. He was promoted to this executive management position to lead the development areas of Ulster-Green ARC. Over the past 15 years, he has received several promotions and held various management positions of increasing responsibility in clinical and vocational services.
A native New Yorker, Garozzo earned a master’s degree in Counselor Education from Canisius College and a MBA from the University of Buffalo. He has been a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor since 1992.
Group Home Foundation, Inc. operates four group homes, as well as, community, work and home support programs for adults with a developmental disability.
