Harbor usage fee increases

The following adjustments have been made to the harbor usage fees for 2013:

A $60 charge is assessed for non-permitted Army Corps of Engineers service/rental mooring/moored float.

A $120 charge is assessed for permitted Army Corps of Engineers service/rental mooring/moored float.

Requests to be placed on the relocation list asking for a change in mooring location increase from $5 to $10.

Overnight tie-ups to city owned moorings increase from $25 for 24 hours to $30 for 24 hours.

Overnight tie-ups to city floats and the wharf increase from $1.75 to $2 per boat foot for vessels up to 39 feet. Vessels 40-feet to 59-feet pay $2.50 per boat foot, and vessels over 60-feet, excluding commercial boats with a city docking contract, pay $3 per boat foot –– $25 minimum charge for 24 hour with a maximum stay of seven days per season.

The group rate for overnight dockage for 20 boats or more increases from $1.75 per boat foot to $2 per boat foot with a minimum $25 charge for 24 hours. The fee includes showers but not shore power.

Cruise ship dockage fees increase from $2.25 per boat foot to $2.50 per boat foot.

The city’s pump-out service for dinghies is being discontinued due to a lack of demand.
