This year for the Fling into Fall Celebration, the Penobscot Marine Museum will offer a Historical Ghost Tour on Saturday Oct 6, throughout the wonderfully haunted town of Searsport. Ghost hunters will board a bus hourly from 11 am to 4pm at the Fowler-True-Ross House on the grounds of the Museum where an interpreter will tell the story of our own in-house ghost. A Belfast Maskers performer will guide the bus to 6 homes where he’ll recount the tales of the spirits who live in these sea captain’s houses. Price for the hour-long tour will be $10 for adults and $5 for children, which also includes an admission to the museum for the day.  Advanced reservations and group reservations can call for discounted rates through a call to our museum store at 548-0334.
